Summary of Key Features:
- Due to our exclusive relationship with the NGF, we have access to the most complete and up-to-date golf database and mailing lists in the country.
- Our database consists of over 5 million golfers residing in the United States.
- Every mailing list can be customized to fit your needs, which guarantees that you target only the best (or "most qualified") customers.
- Our relationship with the NGF gives us access to their Golf Demand Model which allows us to rank order your mailing list (and identify those prospects who are most likely to act on your offer).
How The Process Works
Every mailing list we generate is customized to fit the individual needs of our clients. Some of our clients want to target only golfers who live within a certain mile radius of the course. Other clients manage resort properties and want to identify golfers who live within a 5-hour driving distance of the property and plan golf weekends or vacations every year. Regardless of your situation, we can develop a mailing list that fits your specific needs. Click here for more information
Identify optimal geography / location.
1. We start by identifying the appropriate geography/location. As mentioned above, we can identify golfers that…
- Live in certain zip codes or DMA’s (Designated Market Area)
- Live within a certain mile radius of the golf course/club
- Live in cities (zip codes or DMA’s) that are within a specific drive time for a resort property or other location
No matter where or how you want to look for the best prospects, we can find them for you!
Specify key demographic criteria for your target customer.
2. The second step involves identifying key demographic criteria that would best describe the type of golfer you want to target. Typical search criteria includes, but is not limited to...
- Gender (male or female)
- Age Range
- HHI (Household Income)
- Home Market Value
- Golfer Lifestyle
No matter how specific you want to be with regard to the demographic description of your target customer, we can find the right golfers for you!
Rank order the list by determining who the best prospects are.
3. In our third step, we can take the list generated by steps 1 and 2 and apply NGF’s Golf Demand Model (GDM) which rank orders the list based on specific golfing behavior (referred to as GDM Measures & Selects). The data used to rank order the lists in this manner includes, but is not limited to…
- Number of golfing households
- Number of rounds played
- Number of rounds played on vacation
- Hard goods spending
- Soft goods spending

NGF's Golf Demand Model
- The NGF will merge/purge a national representative sample of a mailing list and then overlay the Golf Demand Model to rank, segment, and prioritize the list by key golf demand metrics.
- You can purchase golfer lists from the most active golfing zip codes and block groups based on the available menu of Golf Demand model measures (i.e. # of rounds played, hard goods spending, etc.).
List Maintenance
The NGF’s database of golfers is updated continuously and processed against both the USPS National Change of Address file (NCOA) and Delivery Sequence File (DSF). All information is carrier route and ZIP +4 coded using the USPS certified Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS).
