Tom is one of the lucky few who has turned his obsession into an occupation. Ever since his Dad took him to the 1976 Masters, two truths have remained constant…his burning passion for the game of golf and his putting yips from three feet in. To say the least, Tom's true talents reside not on, but off the golf course. It is here where the combination of his love for the game and his brand management and strategy expertise has produced the better scorecard. With over 20 years of executive sports and golf marketing experience, Tom has developed a unique set of skills that has produced outstanding business results for brands like Mizuno, Maxfli, and Russell Athletic. Most recently, his strategy work moved the Russell Athletic brand +19 spots in the SGB annual rankings of the most widely recognized sports brands - the largest one-year leap of any brand.  Tom received a BBA degree in Marketing from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Georgia State University.
   
David Nies, Principal Owner
David also considers himself to be among the lucky few whose passion is also his profession. At the age of 8, after picking up a men's 3-wood that was cut in half to fit his size, David became addicted to the game of golf. For the past 30 years, he has tried to master the game, but has had much greater success excelling in his marketing and brand management profession. David has over 18 years of experience in consumer marketing, brand strategy, and general management with companies such as Prudential, Kraft Foods, InterContinental Hotels Group, and Russell. He is accomplished in brand strategy and marketing, having managed many large and well-known brands such as BreathSavers, Holiday Inn, and Jerzees. While at Russell, he developed and orchestrated a new product launch that won Vendor of the Year honors from the world's largest retailer. David received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from The University of North Carolina.
